Melissa Huntley-Bosco

Melissa Huntley-Bosco is an attorney and U.S. Army veteran with over 16 years of active-duty service as a Special Operations logistician, including deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Horn of Africa. After transitioning from active duty in 2015, she joined the Virginia National Guard and earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2018. She deployed again to Iraq with the 529th CSSB, then passed both the Virginia and Maryland Bar exams in 2020. In 2021, she became a Judge Advocate in the Virginia National Guard and served as an operational law and legal assistance attorney during a deployment to Kosovo with KFOR 30. She currently serves as the Brigade Judge Advocate General (JAG) for the 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (ICBT), Virginia Army National Guard.

Melissa earned her J.D. from University of Richmond School of Law. She also has a B.S. in Political Science from University of Maryland University College, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation at Georgetown Law (expected 2026) and is committed to serving clients in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and the surrounding communities.

Melissa resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with her husband and two sons, and is the principal practitioner of HB Law, PLC. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys horseback riding, learning the violin, crocheting, and family time.
