VADM (Ret.) Trey Whitworth

Trey Whitworth is a retired three-star Vice Admiral and former Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In over 36 years of commissioned service, he served joint operations through multiple combat campaigns and at every echelon. As a Flag Officer, he was Intelligence Director for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Intelligence Director for the Commander of U.S. Africa Command, and Deputy Director for Computer Network Operations at the National Security Agency.

Vice Admiral Whitworth remains dedicated to the Special Operations community and its intelligence personnel, having served as Intelligence Director for Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), and a Joint Special Operations Task Force during multiple tours in Afghanistan. Under his command,

the Navy’s Kennedy Irregular Warfare Center and U.S. Central Command’s Joint Intelligence Center were similarly impactful to global Special Operations missions. Vice Admiral Whitworth is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is a distinguished graduate of Duke University (AB) and Georgetown University (MA). He earned an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.

Known as a targeting and Artificial Intelligence (AI) leader, Vice Admiral Whitworth is President (National Security) for r4 Federal, an AI company. He is also a Senior Mentor for Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and Founder/CEO of Whitworth Strategies, LLC.
