Winston Hoffman
Winston Hoffman is a Psychology major at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island with a 4.0 GPA.
She is a graduate of Salem Academy in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she was in the Class of 2025’s Second Honor Graduate and a two-time Citizenship Award recipient. Elected by her peers as Honor Cabinet President, she also served as Secretary of the National Honor Society.
For her senior capstone project, Winston founded the Salem Academy Running Club, where she created a health and wellness curriculum and led weekly workouts for fellow students. She also served as Tenor Section Leader for the Salem Academy A Cappella Singers and performed lead roles in school theater productions. Her achievements earned her the Jess Byrd English Award, Ruth Krouskup English Award, the Orpheus Excellence in Music Award, and recognition as a Commended Scholar by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Winston’s service includes mentoring youth at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and tutoring Spanish through the National Honor Society. She also interned with Forsyth Family Services, supporting early childhood education programs. Previously a student at Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah, she competed in cross country, track, and contributed to the school’s literary magazine.
